DU Admissions 2024: Delhi University is set to release the vacant seats for the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) after Round 1 today, August 22, 2024. According to the schedule, the vacant seat list will be published today. Candidates who registered for DU UG Admissions 2024 can download the list at admission.uod.ac.in.

The first round concluded on August 21. After the release of the vacant seat list, candidates can re-order their higher preferences from 5 PM on August 22 until 4:59 PM on August 23.

The results for the second round of seat allotment will be declared on August 25, and candidates must accept their allotted seats by August 27. Colleges will verify and approve admissions by August 29, with the final date for fee payment being August 30.

According to information from the university, there are approximately 71,600 undergraduate seats across DU colleges. The number of seats allocated in the first round is 36 per cent higher than the total number of seats, as the university aims to fill them optimally for the academic session starting on August 29.

Candidates could choose from 1,559 combinations of programs and colleges for undergraduate admissions. A total of 245,287 candidates applied for the first phase of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for undergraduate courses, with 185,543 applicants submitting their preferences. The university received 17,218,187 preferences during the first round of admissions.
