DU Fee Waiver Scheme: Delhi University (DU) has announced the launch of its Financial Aid Scheme (FSS) for the academic year 2025-26, aimed at providing fee waiver to students from economically weaker backgrounds. The scheme, launched in 2022, aims to help undergraduate and postgraduate (PG) students pursue higher education without any financial difficulties.
The application window for the scheme has opened today, September 10, and interested students can apply through the official websites i.e. du.ac.in and dsw.du.ac.in. The scheme is being implemented under the office of the Dean Student Welfare (DSW).
DU Financial Support Scheme: Required Documents
The following documents must be submitted with the online application form for the fee waiver.
1. Copy of EWS/ OBC-NCL Certificate or annual family income certificate of the Financial Year (2024-25) by competent authority issued after March 31, 2025. Income Certificate signed by a notary officer will not be accepted.
2. Self-attested copies of latest Income Tax Returns (2024-25), if filed, of the following family members.
3. Signed copy of Undertaking Form.
4. Copy of Bonafide Certificate signed by Head/ Director of Department/ Institute/Centre.
5. Copy of mark sheet of the last examination passed.
6. Copy of latest Fee Receipt
7. Copy of Bank Pass Book showing the student's name, Account number and IFSC code or a cancelled cheque.
Eligibility Criteria And Fee Waiver:
A full-time bonafide student studying in any UG/PG Program in a Department/Institute/Centre of University of Delhi (UoD) belonging to any of the following family income category is eligible to apply. (Students enrolled in constituent Colleges of UoD, B.Tech. Programs (excluding CIC), Five Year Integrated Law Programs, SOL and NCWEB are not eligible).
The fee waiver will be provided based on Annual family income:
-Income up to Rs 4,00,000 - Up to 100% fee waiver (subject to a maximum of Rs 15,000).
- Income between Rs 4,00,001 and Rs 8,00,000 - Up to 50 per cent fee waiver (subject to a maximum of Rs 10,000).
