Tata Aeris Price In India:  The Tata Aeris compact sedan has been launched in India with prices starting from Rs 5.29 lakh, ex-showroom. The Aeris is essentially the Tigor facelift, and it features a slew of changes in terms of design and features. Tata Aeris: Design

The new Tata Aeris features a slew of changes to its exterior when compared to the Tigor. As anticipated, the changes are in line with the recently launched Tiago facelift. The front fascia features rectangular LED headlights with eyebrow-shaped LED DRLs. The headlamps are connected with a gloss black applique with the brand’s logo in the centre. It also features large air vents at the front, and the bumper looks sportier. The pixel-type LED fog lamps are positioned lower on the bumper.

On the sides, dual-tone alloy wheels, ORVMs, black body cladding, and traditional pull-type door handles are visible. At the rear, it features wraparound LED taillights with the brand’s logo in the centre, and the Aeris badge is placed on the tailgate. Reflectors sit on either side of the rear bumper, complementing the front bumper and adding a muscular look. A shark antenna is placed on the roof, while a very subtle spoiler has an integrated stop lamp.

Interior

The Tata Aeris features a dual-tone theme inside the cabin with beige and cream colours. The dashboard layout resembles that of the Tiago. It also features leatherette upholstery and soft-touch materials inside the cabin.

Tata Aeris: Engine Specs

The Tata Aeris is available with the options of petrol and CNG. A three-cylinder 1.2-litre Naturally Aspirated (NA) petrol engine is used in the Aeris, and it can be paired with the choice of either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). The NA petrol engine generates 86 hp and 113 Nm of torque. In CNG mode, the same engine generates 76 hp and 97 Nm of torque. Notably, CNG is also available with the option of a 5-speed AMT transmission.
