DU UG Admission 2023: Delhi University's first merit list is released. A total of 7,042 candidates got their First preference and about 22,000 candidates have been allocated a seat from their first five preferences. Candidates can check their DU CSAS first allocation list 2023 at admission.uod.ac.in and du.ac.in.
Candidates who have been allotted a seat in the first round of DU admissions are required to accept the first seat allotment by August 4, till 4:59 pm. The colleges will thoroughly scrutinize the DU applications and complete the processing of candidates' allotments by August 5, 2023.
During the first round of admissions, Delhi University considered 2,02,416 eligible candidates for allocation, taking into account their preferences for programme and college combinations. A total of 85,853 allocations have been successfully made in the first CSAS (Centralized Seat Allotment Schedule) round itself.
The second-round admissions at Delhi University will proceed with the display of vacant seats, which is scheduled to be released on August 7. As part of the process, the DU 2nd merit list for 2023 will be published on August 10, while the third allocation list is set to be announced on August 22. This year a total of 3,04,699 students registering on the CSAS UG portal, out of which 2,45,235 students have successfully submitted their application forms.

The DU released the simulated rank list 2023 on July 29, and the DU cut off for 2023 will be formulated based on the marks obtained by candidates in the CUET UG entrance exam. This year, Delhi University offering admission to 71,000 seats at the undergraduate level, encompassing 78 undergraduate programmes offered across 68 colleges. A total of 1,61,533 candidates opted for Kirori Mal College in their preference forms. This was followed by Hindu College with 1,58,548 applications, Hansraj College (1,57,162) and Ramjas College(1,56,068). The University of Delhi provides admission opportunities to various undergraduate programmes across its affiliated colleges.
