DU UG Spot Admission Round 2: Delhi University has released the DU UG admission counselling spot admission round 2 dates for admissions to the undergraduate courses. Those candidates who were not able to secure a seat in the earlier rounds of admission can register at admission.uod.ac.in.

According to the schedule, Delhi University is set to release the list of vacant seats for the second round of spot admissions on September 7, 2023. Depending on the number of available vacant seats, candidates who wish to participate in this second spot round will have the opportunity to register for seat allotment. Candidates must note that the last date to apply for DU spot admission round 2 will be September 9, 2023.

“The University of Delhi announces admissions the SPOT ADMISSION ROUND of Undergraduate Admissions for the Academic Year 2023-2024. The candidates are advised to look at the vacant seats displayed at the admission website (admission.uod.ac.in) and make an informed choice accordingly,” reads the official notification.

Declaration of allocations in spot admission round 2– September 11, 2023

Candidates to “accept” the allocated seat– September 11 to 13, 2023

Colleges to verify and approve the online applications– September 11 to 14, 2023

Last date of online payment of admission fees by the candidates– September 15, 2023

DU UG spot admission round 2 instructions mentioned in the official notification such as:

- Candidates who had applied and are not admitted to any College/Faculty on the date and time of declaration of vacant seats for Spot Admission Round (i.e. till 05:00 pm Thursday, September 7, 2023) can participate.

- Those candidates who were offered a seat in the earlier SPOT ADMISSION ROUND (if applicable) and failed to complete the admission process will not be able to participate in the subsequent Spot Round/s.

- On the announcement of the Spot Admission Round, the admitted candidates will not be allowed to withdraw their admissions.

- To be considered in the Spot Admission Round, the candidate will have to opt for ‘Spot Round’ through his/her dashboard.

- The desirous candidate will be able to choose any/all Programs he/she wishes to, subject to the availability of seats.

- It will be mandatory for the candidate to take admission to the seat allocated in the Spot Admission Round.

- There will be no option of ‘Upgrade’ and Withdraw’ during the Spot Admission Round. The seat allocated in the Spot Admission Round will be final.
