FMGE June 2024: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will hold the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) June 2024 on July 6. The exam is scheduled to be held in computer-based mode in two shifts: 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Aspirants must bring their FMGE 2024 admit cards and a picture ID to the exam hall. No examinee will be allowed to enter the test centre without an admit card.
The medical board further stated that forbidden goods indicated on the admit card are not permitted within the test centre. It stated that the use of restrooms is not permitted at the start of the exam; however, applicants may use the restrooms before registration or after the exam begins.
Water bottles and eatables are not permitted within the exam centre, except for diabetics and pregnant women, who can bring small amounts of simple sugar or food items in transparent bags following verification.
Using a face mask inside the exam centre is also prohibited unless backed by medical documents. Applicants are urged not to carry pens or pencils. There will be no rough paper provided during the exam. A digital normal calculator will be displayed on the candidate's computer screen.
FMGE June 2024: Instructions for candidates
The medical board gave the following guidelines to applicants:
* Print the admit card back to back on a single sheet of A4 paper.
* Arrive at the assigned test centre on time to prevent delays on exam day.
* Carry all required documentation, which will be validated at the moment of entry.

* Avoid having any forbidden things in the exam hall.
* Carry supporting medical documents if you plan to utilize medication or medical assistance equipment within the testing centre.
* Keep your admission card and identity proof with you at all times when inside the exam centre.
* To avoid problems with finger biometric registration for the examination, do not tattoo your fingers with henna or other colours.
* Keep silence and discipline throughout the exam. Raise your hand to summon the invigilator if you need help during the exam.
* Complete the time-bound areas of the question paper within the time constraints specified. During the exam, avoid from communicating with or peering into other candidates' computer systems.
* Cooperate with exam administrators and follow their directions. Be wary of dishonest people who promise unfair exam assistance.
“All applicants for FMGE JUNE-2024 are advised to carefully read the information bulletin and admit cards issued to them to avoid any last-minute hassles,” said NBEMS in an official notice.
“The examination is under close surveillance and any indulgence in any unfair practice shall be strictly dealt with by NBEMS as per provisions of applicable laws and guidelines,” NBEMS further stated.
