JE Education Desk: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore has released the GATE exam date of 2024. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 will be conducted on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. This test has been scheduled for admission to master's degree programmes in engineering. The GATE 2024 registration will begin in the last week of August and will end up on September 29. Once the registration is started, candidates can apply by visiting the official website of IISc at gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
The GATE 2024 informational bulletin has not yet been made public. On the IISc website, you can see the proposed GATE 2024 timetable, curriculum, application fee, and qualifying requirements.
GATE 2024: Application Fees and Exam Schedule
SC, ST, or PwD-eligible female applicants must pay a late charge of Rs. 900 and a registration fee of Rs. 1,400. There is a Rs 1,800 application fee and an extra Rs 2,300 late fee for all other applicants.

According to the exam schedule, there will be two sessions for GATE 2024, with the morning session lasting from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the afternoon session spanning from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The exam will consist of 30 papers.

GATE 2024: Documents Required
Candidates are advised to keep these documents ready for their admission process:-
- Candidate’s photograph as per requirements.
- Candidate’s signature as per requirements.
- Copy of category (SC/ST) certificate in pdf format (if applicable).
- PwD Certificate in pdf format (if applicable).
- Certificate of Dyslexia (if applicable) in pdf format.
- Any valid photo Identity document: Aadhar-UID (preferable), Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, driving license.
Note: Every document should be scanned.
