GATE Exam 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will wrap up the GATE 2025 registration procedure tomorrow, October 3. Eligible applicants who have not yet applied can do so online on the official website of GATE at gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The GATE 2025 exam dates are February 1, 2, 15, and 16.
Following multiple appeals from candidates, the institute extended the GATE 2025 registration deadline without a late fee to October 3 (11:59 p.m.). Candidates can complete the GATE form 2025 on the GOAPS portal.
Female, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) students are to pay Rs 900 as GATE fees 2025. All other applicants, including overseas nationals, must pay Rs 1,800.

As per the most recent update on the GATE 2025 website, the GOAPS portal accepts payment via international master card and visa card. Furthermore, the Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) GRID-India announced that it will use the GATE result 2025 of the EE exam paper for recruiting.
What is GATE exam?
The GATE exam 2025 will be administered in computer-based test (CBT) mode, with a total of 30 test papers. The test will be administered in two shifts: morning from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and afternoon from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. An applicant will be permitted to take a maximum of two test papers from the available sets of two-paper combinations. The GATE admit card 2025 will be given on January 2, 2025.
GATE scores are used to admit candidates to postgraduate programs in engineering and other fields by IITs, Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs), Indian Institute of Science (IISc), and other participating institutions. GATE results are often used by public sector undertakings for recruitment.
