GATE COAP 2024: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has started the application process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering Common Offer Acceptance Portal (GATE COAP) 2024 today, March 19. Interested and eligible applicants can register for COAP 2024 by going to the official website, iitk.ac.in. GATE 2024 results were released on March 16, and scorecards will be accessible beginning March 23.

To be eligible, candidates must be Indian and have a valid GATE score from 2024, 2023, or 2022. If an applicant has multiple valid GATE scorecards, they must provide the one with the highest score or rank.

GATE CCOAP 2024: What are the screening options for seat allotment?

Following COAP counselling in 2024, candidates must confirm their seat allocation by selecting "Accept and freeze," "Retain and wait," "Reject and wait," or "Reject." Candidates who were not assigned a seat will have to wait for additional rounds.

- Accept and freeze: Candidates should select this option if they want to accept the offered seat while avoiding getting promoted in subsequent rounds of seat allocation. These candidates will not be considered for seat allocation or upgrade offers in subsequent rounds of admissions.

- Retain and wait: This option should be used when applicants want to accept their allotted seat while also being considered for promotion in the next seat allotment round.

- Reject and wait: Candidates should select this option if they are not interested in accepting any of the allocated seats but would like to be considered for future rounds of seat allotment.

- Reject: Candidates should select this option if they do not want to accept any of the seats offered during GATE COAP counselling 2024.
