The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has released the GATE 2025 results today, March 19, on the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Only candidates who achieve the qualifying cut-off score will receive their GATE 2025 scorecards, which will be released at a later date. The IIT Roorkee is expected to release the GATE 2025 scorecard on March 28.

According to the marking scheme, negative marking applies to incorrect answers in the MCQ section. For each incorrect one-mark MCQ, one-third of a mark is deducted, while a two-mark MCQ results in a two-thirds mark deduction. However, no negative marking is applied to incorrect answers in MSQ or NAT questions.

The GATE cut-off score is determined by factors such as the total number of available seats, candidates' secured marks, and the overall number of examinees, among others.

The IIT Roorkee declared the GATE 2025 Results today. Candidates waiting for the GATE 2025 Result can check their results at gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Candidates have to enter their Enrollment Number and Password to check the GATE 2025 results.

IIT Roorkee on Wednesday declared the GATE 2025 Results. Candidate waiting for the results can check their results at goaps.iitr.ac.in. However, the scorecards will be released on March 28, only for those who will clear the cut-off scores. 

Negative marking applies to multiple-choice questions (MCQs) if a candidate selects the wrong answer, resulting in a deduction of marks. For a 1-mark MCQ, ⅓ mark will be deducted for an incorrect response, while a 2-mark MCQ will incur a deduction of ⅔ mark. However, there is no negative marking for incorrect answers in Multiple Select Questions (MSQs) and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.
