IBPS SO Prelims Result 2025 OUT: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) officially announced the result for the IBPS SO Prelims Examination 2025 on October 18, 2025 on their official website. Those students who have appeared for the written examination will be able to check their results by visiting the website and by entering their login credentials. 

IBPS SO Prelims Result 2025: Exam Details

The prelims examination was conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) on August 30, 2025 in offline mode.  The results for the examination are now available from October 17 to October 23, 2025. The examination consisted of 150 questions, and the maximum mark was 125. The time duration to complete the preliminary examination was 2 hours.

Those candidates who will qualify in each of the three tests by securing the minimum cut-off marks to be decided by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. An adequate number of candidates in each category, as decided by IBPS, depending upon requirements, will be shortlisted for the next stage, which will be a Mains Examinations; details will be released soon.

Step 1: Students have to visit the official website-- ibps.in to check their results.

Step 2: Click on the link IBPS SO Prelims Result 2025 available on the homepage.

Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen, and candidates will have to enter the registration number and password on the portal.

Step 4: The IBPS SO Prelims Result 2025 will be displayed on the screen.

IBPS SO Mains Exam Pattern:

For Law, IT, Agriculture, HR, and Marketing Officer Vacancies: 

Professional Knowledge: 60 questions, 60 marks, English and Hindi, 45 minutes

For Rajbhasha Adhikari:

Professional Knowledge (Objective): 45 questions, 60 marks, English and Hindi, 30 minutes

Professional Knowledge (Descriptive): 2 questions, English and Hindi, 30 minutes
