ICAI CA Inter, Final Results 2024: The Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI) is scheduled to release CA Final and Intermediate results for the May 2024 session on July 5, according to ICAI central council member (CCM) Dhiraj Khandelwal on X. The ICAI CA Inter and Final results 2024 are scheduled to be available on the ICAI's official website, icai.org.
The CA Final May 2024 exam was conducted on May 2, 4, and 6, for Group 1 and May 8, 10, and 12, for Group 2. CA Inter examinations for groups 1 and 2 was held on May 3-13, 2024. The exam dates were changed to prevent overlapping with general elections, which was not well accepted by the candidates. Despite student protests, the exam was held on the planned date.
The objective-type questions in each exam will be weighted at 30%, while the remaining questions, accounting for 70% of the paper, will follow the current assessment pattern, according to the institute.

Each multiple-choice question has one or two points, and there is going to be no negative grading for incorrect responses. Following the announcement of the CA results, applicants will receive a statement of marks via post. “However, in case you do not receive the same, for any reason, within 4-5 weeks from the date of declaration of results, you may write to exam.dmsinter@icai.in. Please refer to FAQs on the subject hosted on www.icai.org for more details,” it said.
According to the passing criterion, an applicant must have passed in both groups concurrently. Candidates who achieve a minimum of 40% in each exam in one sitting, as well as a minimum of 50% in the aggregate of all papers in each group, will be pronounced passed.
