ICAI CA May 2024 Exams: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has postponed the exam dates of the ICAI CA May 2024. This decision follows the announcement of the general election dates for the 18th Lok Sabha, scheduled to begin on April 19, with the results set to be declared on June 4. The ICAI CA revised schedule will be released on March 19 at icai.org.
“The Election Commission today have announced schedule of Election to the 18th Lok Sabha in the month of April – June 2024. It is observed that the aforementioned Lok Sabha Election, which will be held in 7 phases, will commence from 19th April 2024 and conclude on 1st June 2024. Counting for all phases will be done on 4th June 2024," reads the notification.
Accordingly, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India will issue the detailed revised schedule of May 2024 Examinations on 19th March 2024 (Evening).

According to the schedule released by ICAI previously, the CA Foundation course exams were planned for June 20, 22, 24, and 26, 2024. For the CA Intermediate course, group 1 exams were scheduled for May 3, 5, and 7, 2024, while group 2 exams were set for May 9, 11, and 13. The CA Final course examinations for Group 1 were set for May 2, 4, and 6, with Group 2 examinations scheduled for May 8, 10, and 12.
The ICAI CA examinations for Foundation papers 1 and 2 usually last for three hours, from 2 pm to 5 pm, whereas papers 3 and 4 are held for two hours, from 2 pm to 4 pm. Intermediate papers are scheduled from 2 pm to 5 pm. For the final course, papers 1 to 5 are conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm, while paper 6 are held for four hours, from 2 pm to 6 pm.
