ICAI 2024: The Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI) has announced revised dates for the CA Intermediate and Final exams in 2024. The ICAI CA May 2024 test dates were rescheduled to coincide with the 18th Lok Sabha general elections.
The CA exams for the Intermediate, Final, and International Taxation - Assessment Test (INTT-AT) have been postponed by the institute. The CA Foundation test date, however, has not altered. The CA Foundation test will be held as scheduled on June 20, 22, 24, and 26.
The Election Commission (EC) stated on March 16 that the general elections for 2024 will be held in seven phases from April 19 to June 1, covering 543 constituencies. The counting for all phases will be completed on June 4, 2024.

“It may further be noted that there would be no change in the examination schedule in the event of any day of the examination schedule mentioned above, being declared a Public Holiday by the Central Government or any State Government/Local Authority,” it said.
“However, it clarified that the other particulars/details announced vide Important Announcement dated 25th January 2024 hosted on www.ical.org shall remain unchanged,” the ICAI added.
CA changed the exam dates 2024
Candidates can view the updated exam dates for the CA Intermediate and Final examinations, which will be place in May. The new timetable is presented in the table below.
