IIT Delhi Placement 2024: On the first day of the placement season for the academic year 2023–24, students at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, received 480 job offers. The placement period started on December 1, 2023, and will run until May 2024 for full-time hiring of undergraduate and postgraduate students. The hiring process is being done in a hybrid mode, combining virtual and physical segments. According to media reports, over 360 national and international companies have registered for the hiring process, presenting over 660 job profiles spanning various sectors.
Approximately 480 full-time job offers, including pre-placement offers, have been received by IIT Delhi students by December 1st, resulting in approximately 450 unique selections. Many students have also been successful in receiving several job offers.
On the first day of recruitment, the top recruiters on campus included Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, and Texas Instruments; about 25 students accepted job offers from countries including Hong Kong, Japan, the Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Meanwhile, on the first day of its placement session, IIT Guwahati received 164 offers from 59 companies. Major recruiters from this year's first two sessions include Google, Microsoft, Bajaj, HPCL, Navi, Piramal, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, and others.
On the first day of the placement session in 2023, IIT Kharagpur received over 700 placement offers, including pre-placement offers (PPOs). Over 121 profiles were made available for the students who received over 19 international offers, with six students receiving offers above Rs 1 crore CTC.
