IIT JAM 2024: On November 24, the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM 2024) correcting facility will begin at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras. The exam for IIT JAM 2024 is slated to take place on February 11 across 100 Indian locations.
Admission to programs like MSc, MSc Tech, MS Research, MSc-MTech dual degree, Joint MSc-PhD, and MSc-PhD dual degree in different institutes is based on JAM results. For the 2024–2025 academic year, there are around 3,000 spots available in postgraduate programs at 21 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Additionally, more than 2,000 spots in the centralised counselling procedure and IISc will be filled.
If there is a mistake, candidates who have already filed their IIT JAM application at joaps.iitm.ac.in can update the details by paying the relevant costs. In addition to the relevant application cost difference, there is a price of Rs 300 for modifying the exam cities, test papers, category, and gender.
The JAM 2024 score is only one requirement; candidates must also meet all other requirements, including minimum educational qualifications (MEQs), eligibility requirements (ERs), and any other requirements, without the need for an additional interview or written test. Candidates who have entered the category or gender incorrectly will also be able to change it by paying additional fees.
There is no reimbursement for the application cost. According to the refund policy, “In case, the fee amount has been debited (deducted) from your bank account, but JAM 2024 application portal does not receive the information due to communication failure or any such event, then the money will be automatically credited back to your account from which the money was deducted. However, this may take a week or more, after the closure of the application process,” the institute said.
