IIT JAM 2024: The deadline to register for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2024 has been extended by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras. Candidates who meet the requirements can fill out the IIT JAM 2024 application at the official website of IIT JAM at jam.iitm.ac.in.
Students who have finished their undergraduate degrees or who are enrolled in their final year of undergraduate programs may apply for the JAM 2024 exam, provided they meet the qualifying requirements. Individuals of any age are eligible to apply, as are foreign nationals with degrees from Indian universities.
IIT JAM 2024 Registration Fees
The application fee for one test paper is Rs 900 for female applicants and Rs 900 for those in the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Persons with Disabilities categories. The remaining applicants must pay the sum of Rs 1,800.
What is IIT JAM 2024?
For the academic year 2024–2025, entrance exams will be held for admission to about 3,000 seats at IITs, 2,000 seats in the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), and counselling through CCMN. Admission to programs including MSc, MSc (Tech), MS Research, MSc-MTech, dual degree, joint MSc-PhD, and MSc-PhD dual degree would be based on JAM results.
IIT JAM 2024 Application Form: Details to be filled
Once the application form is on the screen, candidates have to fill out the following details:
- Personal information (name, email ID, date of birth, mobile number, parent’s or guardian’s name, parent’s or guardian’s mobile number, etc.)
- Address for communication including PIN code
- Details of eligibility degree
- Name and address with PIN code of the college or institute or university
- Choice of JAM papers
- Choice of JAM examination cities
- Scanned copy of 10th standard (SSC) mark sheet
- High-quality image of the candidate’s photograph and signature conforming to the specifications
- Scanned copy of the category certificate (if applicable)
- Scanned copy of physical disability certificate (if applicable) or Unique
- Disability Identification (UDID) certificate.
- Any one of the following Photo IDs: Aadhaar ID, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport, or Voter ID
