IIT Madras: The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) Department of Management Studies (DoMS) is accepting applications for its two-year executive MBA program (EMBA), which aims to teach mid-career working individuals in contemporary management expertise to lead a modern business company. Interested students should apply at doms.iitm.ac.in/admission/ before the deadline of October 20, 2024.
In-person classes for EMBA programs will be conducted on alternating weekends (Saturday and Sunday) at the IIT Madras campus.
Shortlisted applicants will participate in the selection process at the IITM Campus on November 8th, 9th, and 10th. The selection procedure includes a written aptitude test and a personal interview round, according to the IIT Madras release.

“The programme is designed to fit the hectic schedule of working professionals, allowing them to continue their jobs even while pursuing a degree that could help them advance their careers and open new career opportunities,” IIT Madras note adds.

The programme curriculum will be delivered by world-class academics who combine cutting-edge research with practical industry expertise, ensuring that students receive the most relevant and effective education.
Students will also benefit from connecting with industry leaders and accomplished alumni, which will provide them with networking opportunities that are critical for developing meaningful professional contacts, according to an IIT Madras statement.
Professor M Thenmozhi, head of the Department of Management Studies at IIT Madras, welcomed individuals from all across the country to apply for this programme, saying: "This two-year degree program will focus on developing the abilities and mentality to lead in today's fast-changing corporate world. This curriculum will help students stay relevant and future-proof their professions in a fast-paced world.
While highlighting the distinctive features of the EMBA programme, Professor V Vijayalakshmi and Professor S Srinivasan, faculty mentors for the EMBA programme, department of Management Studies, IIT Madras, said: "The academic diversity of the batch enables rich peer learning, the international learning program offers first-hand exposure to global business standards, and the large connections built through the alumni network enriches the overall learning experience."
