GATE 2027 Registration: IIT Madras To Close Graduate Aptitude Test In Engineering Application Window Today; Apply Link Here

GATE 2027 Registration Last Date: The registration window for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2027 closes today, September 27, 2026. This is the final opportunity for candidates to submit their application forms without a late fee. Once the regular registration window closes, applicants will be required to pay a late fee of Rs 500 to register for the exam. With late fees, the registration process will conclude on October 5, 2026. 

To fill out the form, candidates must visit the website, gate2027.iitm.ac.in, and complete the registration process before the deadline to ensure their eligibility for the exam.

As per the Schedule released in the official brochure, IIT Madras will conduct the GATE 2027 examination on February 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21, 2027.

Based on the GATE scorecard, applicants will be granted admission to PG courses at several universities and open recruitment opportunities in PSUs. 

GATE 2027 Registration: Steps To Apply

Once the registration link becomes active today, candidates can fill out their application form using the steps given below.

Step 1: Visit the official website at gate2027.iitm.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the GOAPS portal link.

Step 3: Enter your basic details to register and create your enrollment ID and password.

Step 4: Log in using the above credentials and fill in your personal, educational, and communication details. 

Step 5: Provide facial details during registration for verification.

Step 6: Upload documents in the prescribed format and size.

Step 7: Pay the fee and submit the form after verifying all details thoroughly.

The registration fee is non-refundable and must be paid via online payment modes such as Credit/Debit/UPI/etc. Only after successful completion of the payment process, candidates’ application form will be processed.
