Income Tax Recruitment 2023: Income Tax, Mumbai has started the application process for Inspector, MTS, Stenographer, Tax Assistant, and Canteen Attendant posts. The last date to apply will be January 19, 2024. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online at incometaxmumbai.gov.in.

This recruitment drive will fill up a total of 291 vacant seats in the Inspector, MTS, Stenographer, Tax Assistant, and Canteen Attendant posts. Candidates are advised to read the official notification before applying for the Income Tax Recruitment application form.

Inspector of Income Tax: 14 Vacancies
Stenographer: 18 Vacancies
Tax Assistant: 119 Vacancies
Multi Tasking Staff: 137 Vacancies
Canteen Attendant: 3 Vacancies

Income Tax Recruitment 2023: Application Fees

All candidates must pay an application fee of Rs 200. The fee must be paid online only and proof of payment must be included with the application.

Income Tax Recruitment 2023: Selection Process

The Department of Personnel and Training will determine the order of preference for the selection of meritorious athletes, and such athletes will be given consideration for appointments.

"To extend fair opportunity to sportspersons from all the above games/sports, the total recruitment in each game/sport will not be more than 10% of the total number of vacancies being advertised in each post (ITI/Steno/TA/MTS/CA). However, the Pr.CCIT, Mumbai may, at his/her discretion, increase or decrease the number of posts for any particular game/sport," reads the official notification.
