JAC 8th Result 2025 OUT: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) officially announced the Class 8 Board Exam Result 2025 on May 20, bringing relief and excitement to over half a million students and their families across the state.The exams, conducted on March 10, 2025, covered core subjects including Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science. The results reflect the dedication of students and teachers alike, especially as the state continues to focus on improving education standards.
This year, a total of 518,023 students registered for the exam, out of which 499,972 appeared. Impressively, 471,937 students passed, pushing the overall pass percentage to 94.39%, a slight improvement over last year’s 94.16%.
District-wise, Giridih recorded the highest enrolment with 47,082 students, and a strong pass record, while Ranchi and Dhanbad also reported high numbers of successful candidates. The results were made available online at jacresults.com and jac.jharkhand.gov.in, and students can access their marksheets by entering their roll number and roll code. In case of website slowdowns due to heavy traffic, students have been advised to remain patient or use alternate methods like DigiLocker and SMS for result access.
School principals can also download results for all students through a dedicated portal using their school credentials. The JAC has ensured transparency and accessibility, with detailed marksheets including subject-wise marks, percentage, and pass/fail status.
