JEE Advanced 2024 Topper: IIT Madras has released the toppers list along with the JEE Advanced results today, June 9. Dwija Patel from Rajkot, Gujarat, has topped the JEE Advanced 2024 among girls, scoring 332 out of 360 marks. Her family is overjoyed and proud of Dwija's remarkable achievement. Earlier, in the JEE Main 2024, Dwija also topped the girls' category with an impressive score of 99.99 percentile.
Dwija, who secured 7th rank in JEE Advanced 2024, prepared for the exam while staying in Kota, Rajasthan. She aspires to study computer science engineering at IIT Bombay and attributes her success to her hard work. Dwija's unwavering commitment and determination are evident in her daily 12-hour study sessions. She also achieved an impressive score of 290 out of 300 marks in the JEE Main exam.
Dwija’s father, Dharmeshbhai, a teacher by profession, encouraged her to pursue computer science engineering after she showed an interest in coding classes in class 9. With the release of the JEE Advanced 2024 results, it seems his wish is coming true. Dwija began studying coding in class 9, a time when many children struggled with math calculations. Her dedication to coding and her love for mathematics, her favorite subject, have clearly paid off.

This year, out of the 41,020 female students who appeared for JEE Advanced 2024, a total of 7,964 passed the exam. Overall, 48,248 students cleared the IIT entrance exam. Among the other female toppers, this year are Arittra Malhotra from the IIT Delhi zone with a CRL of 221, Archita Banka from the IIT Guwahati zone, Shreshtha Gupta from the IIT Kanpur zone, Tamanna Kumari from the IIT Bhubaneswar zone, and Srinithya Devraj from the IIT Madras zone.
Meanwhile, Ved Lahoti from the IIT Delhi zone has emerged as the top ranker in the Common Rank List (CRL), scoring an impressive 355 out of 360 marks.
