JEE Main 2027 Application Window: Big news is coming soon for students who want to pursue their dreams to Engineering graduate pursuit students in the next session, 2027. The National Testing Agency, formerly known as NTA, is likely to open the registration window for JEE Main 2027 Session shortly. However, no official registration schedule has been released yet; based on past year trends, the registration process could start in the last week of October 2026.
Interested candidates can apply only via the official portal, jeemain.nta.nic.in. As per the NTA exam schedule, the JEE Main 2027 Session 1 exam will be held on January 22 to 24 and 28 to 30, 2027, with January 31 designated as a buffer date.

JEE Main Registration 2027: Steps To Apply
Step 1: Once NTA activates the link, candidates go to the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in and open the JEE Main 2027 registration link.
Step 2: They need to register using a valid mobile number and email ID and note down the application number.
Step 3: Next, candidates must fill in personal, academic, category, paper choice, and examination city details.
Step 4: After this, they have to upload the required photograph, signature and other prescribed documents.
Step 5: Finally, the application fee must be paid online, and the confirmation page should be downloaded for future reference.
Trends in Registrations for the Previous Year:
The registration procedure for JEE Main Session 1 in the previous admission process commenced on October 31, 2025. Registration for JEE Main 2025 Session 1 was initiated on October 28, 2024. Therefore, the application process for JEE Main 2027 is most likely to begin in the last week of October 2026 and may even persist into November.
Documents Required for JEE Main 2027:
It is advised that the candidates have scanned copies of their photograph (.jpeg/.jpg format) as well as their signature ready, along with their identification details and academic information.
Candidates also need to keep a copy of the Class 10 or equivalent certificate/marksheet handy, and the PwD/PwBD certificate needs to be ready. According to official sources, a candidate has to upload a live photograph for the purpose of filling the application.
