JEE Main 2024: The Joint Entrance Examination-Main (JEE Main 2024) registration dates and curriculum are anticipated to be released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) next week. The Times of India indicated that there will likely be a reduction in the JEE Main 2024 syllabus.

According to NTA Director General Subodh Kumar Singh, the expert group is finalizing the syllabus after the testing organization spoke with all boards. According to the source, the application form deadline and the JEE Main 2024 information bulletin will be announced the next week.

JEE Main 2024 session 1 will take place from January 24 to February 1 and session 2 from April 1 to April 15, 2024, according to the NTA exam schedule. The official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, will house the link to the JEE Main application form.

The NTA decided to offer options in one portion of each subject on Paper 1 as well as Paper 1 of Papers 2A and 2B last year. However, the overall number of physics, chemistry, and math questions to be answered stayed at 25.

Students began asking the NTA to publish the JEE syllabus after the National Medical Commission (NMC) recently announced the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG 2024) syllabus. The NEET UG syllabus reduction, however, was unclear, and several students have also called attention to inaccuracies in the announced syllabus.

A large portion of the JEE Main syllabus is made up of subjects from NCERT Classes 11 and 12. Several boards, including the CBSE and CISCE, lowered the Class 12 syllabus in response to the COVID-19 pandemic's negative effects on education.
