JEE Main 2024 BTech Exam: The Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main 2024) BTech paper 1 test will be held beginning tomorrow. Candidates must bring the JEE Main BTech admit card 2024 to the test centre, along with a valid ID card. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will administer the test on January 27, 29, 30, 31, and February 1.
Candidates taking the paper 1 test have been handed their JEE Main hall tickets. Candidates will be able to access and download the JEE Mains exam centre at jeemain.nta.ac.in by entering their application number and birth date.
The exam will be held in two shifts: the first from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, and the second from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The JEE Mains paper 1 will have multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and numerical value questions, with equal weightage given to mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
The National Testing Agency has released dress code requirements, forbidden objects in the exam hall, and exam instructions. Those discovered employing unfair tactics will be prohibited for three years.
JEE Main 2024 BTech Exam: Things to carry
Candidates will be allowed to bring the following items into the NTA JEE test centre and hall.
- JEE Main 2024 admit card
- Completed self-declaration form acquired from the NTA's official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in.
- A simple transparent black or blue ballpoint pen.
- Additional photograph, to be pasted on the attendance sheet.
- Personal transparent water bottle.
- If the candidate has diabetes, he or she should take sugar pills or eat fruits like bananas, apples, and oranges.
JEE Main 2024 BTech Exam Pattern
JEE Main BTech paper 2024 would consist of 90 questions for 300 marks. Each subject will consist of two sections: multiple-choice questions and numerical questions. Section B will require students to answer only five of ten questions. They should be aware that both parts will have negative markings.
According to the marking scheme, four marks will be provided for each correct answer, one mark will be removed for each incorrect response, and no marks will be granted for unattempted questions.
