JEE Main 2025: After noticing mistakes in the photos supplied by Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 applicants in the JEE Main application form 2025, the National Testing Agency (NTA) permits applicants to examine and upload the images as per the specified criteria to prevent application rejection. The JEE Main 2025 application correction window will be accessible from January 16 to January 17, 2025, on the official website of JEE Main at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The examination agency will notify JEE Mains 2025 applicants whose pictures need to be changed via message to their registered mobile number or email address. Aspirants must log in using their JEE login credentials and make modifications via the given link.

“It has been observed that the Photograph uploaded by a few candidates for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main)-2025 (Session-1) has not been found as per the required specifications. It has been decided to give an opportunity to such candidates to upload the Photograph as per required specifications to avoid rejection of application,” said NTA in the latest JEE Main 2025 notification.

JEE Main photo requirements 2025

While repeating on this, the NTA also released the required standards for applicants' photographs as stated in the JEE Main Information Bulletin 2025, which are as follows:

- Passport photographs should be between 10 kb and 300 kb.

- The most current photos should be in colour and show 80% of the face (without mask), including the ears, against a white backdrop. The photograph should be labelled 'Photograph' and saved in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible).

- Spectacles are permitted only when used regularly. Polaroid and computer-generated images are not accepted.

- Submissions that do not follow these guidelines or include unclear images will be rejected.

- Applications lacking the specified photos will be rejected.

- The photographs do not need to be attested. Applicants should preserve 6 to 8 passport-sized colour images with a white backdrop.

- If the images supplied are discovered to be faked, that is, de-shaped or appear to be hand-made or computer-made, the applicant's application will be denied as unfair methods, and the applicant will be dealt with appropriately.
