JEE Main 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will stop registration for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 tomorrow, November 22. Interested and qualified individuals can apply for the JEE Mains 2025 session 1 test at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The first session of the JEE Main 2025 test will be held between January 22 and January 31.

According to the JEE Main 2025 qualifying criteria, students must have finished their Class 12 or equivalent examination with 75% marks (65% for SC and ST) in physics, mathematics, chemistry, biology, or technical vocational subjects. Students taking the Class 12 board test in 2025 are also qualified.

The NTA will begin the JEE Main 2025 application rectification on November 26. The testing agency has also answered frequently asked questions (FAQs) about exam dates, application fees, admit cards, and other topics.

JEE Main 2025: What are the changes made this year?

- JEE Main 2025's new website is jeemain.nta.nic.in.

- NTA removed optional questions from section B of both JEE Main exams. Applicants must attend all five questions rather than selecting five out of ten.

- The JEE Main 2025 tie-breaking rule has been revised.

- NTA has removed the age requirement from JEE Mains 2025. Any student may apply for the exam, and there is no age limit.

The NTA has reduced the number of exam cities from 300 to 284 this year, as well as the number of international exam cities.

The JEE Main test is administered twice yearly for admission to engineering and architecture programs at the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other nationally supported technical institutes. The test is also a precondition for JEE Advanced, held at IITs.

JEE Main 2025 will feature two papers. Paper 1 will be for BE and BTech programs, while paper 2 will be for BArch and BPlanning courses.
