Will JEE Main Cutoff 2026 Be Higher This Year?

This year, it is expected that the cutoff can be higher than in the previous year. An increased number of applicants and limited seats in engineering colleges may lead to higher cutoffs. Furthermore, the normalization process across all exam shifts can also lead to higher admission and qualifying percentile for JEE Main 2026. General category categories can expect significantly higher cutoffs.

Candidates who clear the JEE Main cutoff proceed to the next stage of the examination, i.e., JEE Advanced. They are eligible to participate in the JoSSA counselling and can apply for admission to NITs, IITs, and GFTIs. Scoring more than the cutoff improves your chances of getting admission to prestigious colleges across the country.
