JEE Main 2026 Result Date: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will probably declare the JEE Main result 2026 for Session 1 by February 16, 2026. Candidates can download the results by logging in to the candidates’ portal using their application number, password/date of birth. Earlier, the result date was Feb 12, but due to some unforeseen circumstances, the date was postponed.

JEE Main Session 1 was held between January 21 to 29, 2026, in two shifts. Paper 1 was held from January 21 to 28, 2026, in two shifts- first shift from 9 am to 12 noon and second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm, while Paper 2 was conducted on January 29, 2026, in a single shift from 9 am to 12.30 pm.

JEE Main 2026 Result: Steps To Download

Follow the given steps to download the results once the official link is active. 

Step 1: Visit the NTA official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. 

Step 2: Click on the “JEE Main 2026 Result” link. 

Step 3: In the login window, enter your application number and password/date of birth. 

Step 4: Type the captcha code as shown, and submit. 

Step 5: The result will be displayed on the screen.

JEE Main 2026 Scorecard PDF: Details Mentioned

Once you download the JEE Main Session 1 scorecard, check for the following details: 

  • Application number

  • JEE Main session 1 roll number

  • Mother’s name

  • Father’s name

  • Category

  • PwD status

  • Gender

  • Date of birth

  • Nationality

  • State of eligibility

  • Percentile mark in Maths

  • Percentile mark in Chemistry

  • Percentile mark in Physics

  • Percentile marks in Total

What After JEE Main Result Declaration?

Qualified candidates will then appear for the JoSAA counselling. Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSSA) is a centralised process for managing and regulating seat allocation to candidates across various IITs and NITs in India. 

The JEE Main scorecard is used for admission to UG programs such as BE/BTech, BArch, and BPlanning, at participating government and private institutions across India.
