CBSE Board Exam 2026 Webinar: Revised Class 10 Exam Guidelines
Check out the revised exam guidelines for CBSE Class 10 Board exams 2026.
1. CBSE Class 10 Science paper will be divided into separate sections of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
2. The Social Science paper will have a separate section for History, Civics and Geography.
3. The Board will not give any marks for answers not written as per the section.
4. Final evaluation will be done based on a section-wise score.
CBSE Board Exam 2026 Webinar: Important Points For Class 12 Students
Analysing the exam trends, the Board has evaluated that approximately 18 lakh students sit for the CBSE class 12 board exams, making the answer booklet over 1 crore. To reduce transportation and evaluation time to one-third, the Board has introduced this new initiative of on-screen marking. The benefits of this are explained below.
1. Since there will be no totalling, posting and uploading errors, the total evaluation time would be reduced from 12 days to 9 days.
2. Human intervention will be restricted.
3. Evaluation will be faster with wider teacher participation.
4. Transportation time and cost will be saved.
5. Once the results are declared, there will be no verification of marks.
6. Evaluators will evaluate only answer booklets, and no totalling will be done by them.
7. Further, evaluators will not do the cross-checking of marks, thus saving time.
