JEE Main Result 2024 Session 2: The National Testing Agency has released the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 results for session 2 in online format. Applicants can check their results and obtain their scorecards by going to the official NTA JEE Main website at jeemain.nta.ac.in. The JEE Main 2024 Session 2 exam began on April 4 and ended on April 12, 2024.

Applicants will get the final JEE Main 2024 scorecard via email at their enrolled address. Only normalised scores are listed on the official scorecard. The NTA will not accept any questions about the JEE Main result 2024 because candidates were given a chance to contest the answer key.

The JEE Main exam was held on April 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 12, with around 12.57 lakh candidates enrolling. The NTA administered the test in two sessions, in January and April 2024, with over 24 lakh registrations each. JEE Main 2024 Session 1 was held from January 24 to February 1.

JEE Main Result 2024 Session 2: Category-wise JEE Main cut-offs 2024

This year, the JEE Main cut-offs 2024 for every category have increased significantly from last year. A total of 97,351 unreserved applicants met the minimum cut-off.

The raw score earned by applicants who participated in several shifts was translated into a percentile score to create the merit list. The JEE Main cut-off 2024 is set by the difficulty level of the exam, the number of applicants who took the exam, previous years' cut-off patterns, and other criteria.

The applicants who met the minimum JEE Main cut-off have been declared. Those who have obtained a rank in the top 2.5 lakh will be qualified to take the JEE Advanced exam 2024. This year, the Indian Institute of Technology Madras will hold JEE Advanced 2024 on May 26.

JEE Main 2024 session 2 result: How to calculate percentile?

NTA will compute the percentile score for each subject and overall. The formula for determining the percentile score is given below:-

JEE Main 2024 session 2 result: How to download the result?

Step 1: Visit the official website of JEE Main at jeemain.nta.ac.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the JEE Main 2024 results tab.

Step 3: After this, enter the candidate login credentials like application number, date of birth and security pin and then submit it.

Step 4: Now, The JEE Main session 2 result 2024 will appear on the screen along with the scorecard and rank details.

Step 5: Download the JEE Main session 2 result 2024 and take a printout of the same for further reference.

What after JEE Main Result 2024?

- Those who passed JEE Main with qualifying marks can apply for JEE Advanced beginning April 27, 2024, to gain admission to IITs.

- Registration for JoSAA counselling will likely commence on June 10, 2024. Candidates who qualify may engage in the college's allocation counselling process.
