JEE Main 2025 April session Live updates: JoSAA counselling from June 3
According to the official website of JEE Advanced 2025, the counselling process for JEE Main and JEE Advanced 2025 will begin on June 3. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is responsible for conducting the counselling, which aims to allot seats for undergraduate engineering programmes at prestigious institutes such as IITs, NITs, IIEST, IIITs and other GFTIs.
While admission to IITs is determined based on JEE Advanced ranks, other participating colleges allot seats based on JEE Main ranks.
JoSAA will manage seat allotment for 121 institutes, including 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 40 other GFTIs. In the previous academic session, these institutes collectively offered a total of 59,937 seats.
