Andhra Pradesh's Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has initiated an investigation following reports from several JEE Main session two candidates who assert that they were unable to attend the national engineering examination due to arriving late at the centers. This delay is reportedly linked to traffic restrictions implemented for Kalyan's official convoy. Candidates indicated that these restrictions prevented them from reaching the exam center situated in the Pendurthi area.

According to the news agency PTI, more than 25 candidates were unable to participate in the JEE Main 2025 as a result of these traffic limitations. A statement released by Pawan Kalyan's office on the social media platform X has requested the Visakhapatnam police to look into the matter and determine the duration of the traffic stoppage caused by the convoy.
