This year, the Jharkhand Class 12 Board Exam commenced on February 11 and concluded on March 4, 2025.

In Commerce, the pass percentage of girls is 95.05% and that of boys is 78.47%.

In the Commerce stream, girls have achieved a pass percentage of 95.05%, significantly outperforming boys, whose pass percentage stands at 78.47%

This year, 98,634 candidates appeared for the Science stream exam, out of which 78,186 candidates passed. The overall pass percentage stands at 79.26% for the Science stream.

A total of 58,178 candidates have cleared the Science stream in different divisions. This includes 38,732 students securing first division, 19,383 in second division, and 63 in third division.

• Last year, the total pass percentage of Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) 12th board exam was 85.48%. Talking about stream-wise toppers in the year 2024, Sneha of Ursuline Inter College, Ranchi topped the Science stream by securing 491 marks.
• In the Commerce stream also, Pratibha Saha of the same college secured the first position with 474 marks. At the same time, Zeenat Parveen of Government Plus Two High School, Kanke topped the Arts stream with 472 marks.
• Talking about the success rate, 72.70% students were declared successful in Science, 90.60% in Commerce, 93.16% in Arts and 89.22% in Vocational stream.

• In the result of the year 2024, 40.78% of the students have passed the exam in the first division while 55.71% of the students have passed the exam in the second division. The overall passing percentage in 12th was 85.48%.

Students who fail by 5% or less in one subject can get up to 5% grace marks. For 3% or less failure in each of two subjects, up to 3% grace marks can be given per subject. Grace marks can also help students get a higher grade if they fall short by five marks or less.
