Jharkhand NEET Counselling 2024: The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has begun the registration process for the NEET UG counselling. Candidates who have qualified for the NEET 2024 can apply for the Jharkhand NEET Counselling 2024 at jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in.
JCECEB has invited applications to create the State Merit List for counseling for admission to various courses, including MBBS, BDS, and BHMS, at government and private medical colleges/institutes in Jharkhand. This invitation is for candidates who have qualified for NEET (UG) 2024.
"The candidate must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks combined in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology at the qualifying examination, as mentioned in the Regulations of NMC and DCI. Additionally, they must have a rank in the merit list of NEET (UG) 2024 for admission to Undergraduate Medical Courses," reads the notification.
Jharkhand NEET Counselling 2024: Registration Fees
To register for counseling, candidates from the Other Category (OC) and Backward Class (BC) categories must pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 1,000. Candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories, as well as female candidates of all categories and Divyang (differently-abled) candidates, are required to pay a fee of Rs 500.
Jharkhand NEET Counselling 2024: 1st Round Of Online Counselling Dates
Jharkhand NEET Counselling 2024 online registration and choice filling for seat allotment will start on August 21 and end on August 26. Candidates can edit their filled choices, if needed, on August 27. Seat allotment and the downloading of the provisional seat allotment letter will take place from August 29 to September 5. Document verification and admission at the concerned institute will be conducted from August 30 to September 5.
