Jharkhand NMMS Scholarship 2023: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has commenced the registration process for the National Means Cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) 2023. Interested and eligible students can apply for the JAC NMMS 2023 scholarship at jac-nmms.com.

According to the schedule, the Jharkhand NMMS registration process will be closed on November 17, 2023. NMMS Jharkhand 2023-24 exam will be conducted from December 17, 2023.

The Jharkhand NMMS Scholarship is designed to offer financial support to eligible class 9 students. It provides an annual financial assistance of Rs 12,000 to the selected students. This scholarship continues to be available to eligible students until they complete class 12.

To qualify for the scholarship in class 9, applicants need to achieve a minimum aggregate of 55 per cent marks. They must successfully pass class 9 to remain eligible for the scholarship in class 10. Similarly, for class 11, students are required to pass class 10 with a minimum of 60 per cent marks to be eligible for the scholarship, and this progression continues through class 12 as well.

Students currently enrolled in class 8 are eligible to submit their applications for the scholarship. According to the media reports, students studying in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Sainik Schools, and private schools do not qualify for the scholarship. Applicants who have achieved a minimum of 55 per cent marks in their class 7 examinations meet the eligibility criteria to apply for this scholarship.

Step 3: Fill out the application form
Step 4: Now upload the required documents
