JNV Class 9, 11 Admission 2027: Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has officially started the online application process for the Lateral Entry Selection Test 2027. This national-level entrance examination aims to fill vacant seats across Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas for Class 9 and Class 11 admissions.


Interested and eligible candidates can submit their forms online through the official portal at navodaya.gov.in. Applicants and parents are advised to review the official notification thoroughly and ensure all required documents, including residential and academic certificates, are kept ready before the submission deadline.

Examination Centres and Selection Process

The selection test will take place at the respective Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya within the candidate's district or at another centre assigned by NVS. Final admissions will be granted strictly based on merit and the availability of vacant seats in the concerned JNV.

JNVST Class 9, 11 Lateral Entry 2026: How to Apply?

Step 1: Go to the official NVS admission portal at navodaya.gov.in or cbseitms.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the link for Class IX LEST 2027 or Class XI LEST 2027 registration.

Step 3: Fill in personal details, residential address, and current school info.

Step 4: Upload required photos and signatures.

Step 5: Verify details, submit before September 30, 2026, and download the application confirmation page.

Required Documents for Application

Candidates must gather and upload specific documents during the online registration process:

-Passport-size photographs of the candidate

-Digital signatures of both the candidate and parent/guardian

-Identity proof (Aadhaar card details, APAAR ID, or PEN)

-Proof of date of birth and residence certificate matching the target JNV district

-Class 8/10 study details and rural area certificate (if applying under rural quota)

-Category certificates (OBC / Divyang / SC / ST, if applicable)
