The Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Main Examination 2025 and eight other competitive examinations have been postponed following Tuesday's CID raid. The JPSC Mains Exam dates have been previously announced and were scheduled to begin from July 25 onwards. The sudden postponement has created a state of uncertainty among students. However, it is expected that the Commission will soon release the new dates for the JPSC Mains Examination 2025.

JPSC Chairman Resigns Amidst Rigging Allegations
After the joint raid and investigation by the CID on Tuesday, the JPSC Chairman L. Khiangte has resigned from his post. The raid was conducted after alleged examination irregularities resurfaced and impacted the 14th JPSC civil services results. JPSC Mains Exam Is Descriptive In Nature
The Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Main Examination 2025 is descriptive in nature and includes six mains papers. Candidates who have qualified the JPSC Prelims Examination get shortlisted for the Mains Exams. Following this, interview rounds will be held for candidates who clear the descriptive tests. The final merit list is prepared by combining the mains and interview marks. Under Advertisement No. 01/2026, selected candidates will be recruited to Group A and Group B state government services.
