JSSC Stenographer 2024: The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) decided to extend the registration deadline for the stenographer test in 2024. According to the official notice, aspirants can now fill out the JSSC stenographer 2024 application form online until October 10 on the official website of JSSC at jssc.nic.in.

Applicants from the general, other backward classes (OBC), and economically weaker sections (EWS) categories must pay a Rs 100 application fee to apply for the JSSC stenographer position. Aspirants from the scheduled caste (SC) and scheduled tribal (ST) groups must pay a Rs 50 application fee.

The commission has also extended the deadline for correcting JSSC stenographer applications. Aspirants can make revisions to their application forms until October 12 via the official website.

Aspirants can change personal information such as their name, date of birth, gender, contact information, educational qualifications, residence, and category. They can also rectify any mistakes in the provided photo and signature if necessary.

The recruiting drive intends to fill 455 stenographer posts. The commission will undertake the final selection of applicants for the position of stenographer using a three-tier process that comprises a skill test, a written examination, and document verification.

- Age limit: Aspirants should be between the ages of 21 and 35 as of August 1, 2024. The upper age limit has been eased for reserved category applicants.

- Education Qualification: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognised institution or institute.
