KCET 2024: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) announced that it will not release admit cards to candidates who have only chosen the UG NEET 2024 option in the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2024. However, these students will be allowed to participate in the seat allotment process for medical, dental, and Ayush courses, as stated by the KEA. Admissions for these courses will be conducted via the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET 2024).
The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has scheduled the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2024 to take place on April 18 and 19. This examination is conducted for admission to UG programs in engineering, technology, agriculture, horticulture, veterinary science and animal husbandry, pharmacy, and yoga. Candidates can check and download the KCET 2024 admit card at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.
The KEA also administers the admission process for undergraduate medical seats under Karnataka's state quota, where NEET serves as the only entrance examination for UG medical courses. Candidates pursuing medical courses are exempt from appearing in the KCET entrance examination. Instead, they can directly participate in the counseling process utilising their NEET 2024 scores.
KCET 2024: Change Of Exam Centre
The KCET exam authority has accepted the requests from candidates to relocate their examination center from Kolar to Kalaburagi. KEA has started the process of gathering details from candidates who mistakenly changed their examination center during the KCET 2024 form correction phase. Candidates who want to do a center change must submit a request through their pre-university college principal and provide a reason for the change.
