List of NIT Colleges in India 2026: Admission Criteria
For admission to engineering courses at NITs, candidates need to qualify for the JEE Main entrance exam. Qualified candidates will then appear for the JoSAA/CSAB counseling to secure seats. Final admission will include document verification and payment of the admission fees.
The JEE Main scorecard will be valid for one year only. This means that candidates can use the NTA JEE Main Session 1 Main scorecard in the same year as the examination. The scores cannot be used for the next admission cycle.
