MAH 5-Year LLB CET 2024: The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test cell has extended the deadline to register for the MAH 5-Year LLB CET 2024 to March 30. Candidates who have not yet applied can do so by visiting the official website of MAHACET at cetcell.mahacet.org. This is the second extension to the registration date. Previously, the deadline to apply for the exam was March 18.

Eligible applicants must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board with a 45% overall score for open, EWS, and OMS candidates, 40% for SC and ST, and 42% for VJNT, SBC, and OBC. Applicants who have obtained a three-year engineering diploma from any faculty will also be considered.

The cost for open, EWS, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) candidates, all India candidates from all categories, and Jammu and Kashmir migrant candidates is Rs 1000. Candidates from backward classes [SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT (A), NT-1 (B), NT-2(C), NT-3(D), OBC, and SBC] would have to pay Rs 800. Orphan and transgender candidates would be required to pay a fee of Rs 800.

“State CET Cell office received a request from candidates and parents regarding an extension for registration to MAH-LL.B 5 Yrs. CET 2024. Hence, considering the academic interest of the candidates CET CELL has decided to give Second Extension for Online Registration and Application Form Filling for MAHLL.B - 5 Yrs. CET 2024 as per the schedule given below,” said CET cell.

“No further extension will be given after 30/03/2024. Candidates should take note of this,” the CET cell iterated.

MAH 5-year LLB CET 2024: Instructions

Candidates would have to submit the following documents during the Common Admission Process (CAP) for admission to 5-year LLB programmes:

- Candidates must produce their caste certificate, caste validity certificate, and non-creamy layer certificate, if applicable.

- Candidates with a valid caste certificate and caste validity certificate from Maharashtra state, as well as a valid non-creamy layer certificate valid until March 31, 2025, and who are residents of Maharashtra state, shall apply solely under the backward class category. During counselling, candidates must upload their caste validity certificate as well as their non-creamy layer certificate.

- The candidate must produce an Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate if applicable.

- If relevant, the candidate will be required to produce a Persons with Disability (PWD) certificate.
