Over 14 lakh students who took the Maharashtra Class 12 board exam are eagerly waiting for their results.

1. Visit the DigiLocker website at digilocker.gov.in or download the app.

2. Select 'Register for DigiLocker'.

3. Input a valid mobile number and verify the OTP sent to that number.

4. Create your username and password.

5. Enter your Aadhar number.

6. Sign in using your registered username and password to access your results.

To pass, candidates must achieve a minimum of 35% in each topic (theory and practical), including both main and optional.

Last year, Konkan district attained the title of the best performing district with a pass percentage of 96.01% in the HSC exam.

In a recent notification, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has alerted Class 10 and 12 board exam candidates and their parents regarding misinformation circulating on social media. Result dates for these exams will be officially announced and published on mahahsscboard.in, results.gov.in, and mahresult.nic.in.

The online scorecard includes details such as Class, Student’s Name, Roll Number, Mother’s Name, Father’s Name, District/School Code, Group Code, Subject-wise theory marks, Subject-wise practical marks, Total Marks, Maximum marks, and Result/Division.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is expected to declare the results of the Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exams 2024 soon. According to media reports, the results are expected to be announced this month anytime soon. However, the exact date and time are yet to be announced by the board.

- SSC (Class 10): In the Maharashtra SSC Class 10 Exam 2023, an overall of 14,34,898 pupils passed the exam out of 15,29,096 who showed up, with a pass percentage of 93.83%. The best-performing districts were Latur, Aurangabad, Konkan, Pune, Amravati, and Mumbai.

- HSC (Class 12): The previous year, the Maharashtra Class 12 (HSC) Higher Secondary Certificate Examination 2023 yielded an overall pass rate of 91.25%. Girls outperformed boys in this exam, with a 94.73% pass percentage versus 89.14% for boys.

To pass, pupils must achieve a minimum of 35% in each topic (theory and practical), including both main and optional.

The Class 10 Board Exam for this year was held from March 1 to March 26, 2024. Two shifts were used for the examination: the first from 11 am to 2 pm for some papers, 11 am to 1 pm for others, and the second from 3 pm to 6 pm.

12,92,468 out of 14,16,371 students who took the Maharashtra HSC 2023 test completed it in 2023. The pass percentage as a whole was 91.25%.

Female students outperformed their male counterparts, with a pass percentage of 93.73% against 8914% for boys.

Over 14 lakh applicants have taken part in the state's Class 12 board examination this year.

Science: 96.09 per cent (highest among all streams)

Arts: 84.05 per cent

Commerce: 90.42 per cent

Business courses: 89.25 per cent

Overall: 91.25 per cent.
