Maharashtra SSC Result 2025:  As the academic year draws to a close, lakhs of students across Maharashtra eagerly await the announcement of the SSC (Class 10) results. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has completed all preparations and is expected to declare the results in the third week of May, with several reports indicating a likely release on May 12, 2025. The results will be announced through a press conference, where the board will share crucial statistics such as pass percentage, division-wise performance, and the number of candidates who appeared.

This year, the SSC exams were conducted from February 21 to March 17, 2025, in pen-and-paper mode, with 16,11,610 students-including 8,64,120 boys, 7,47,471 girls, and 19 transgender students-taking part. The results will be made available online, ensuring that students from every corner of Maharashtra can access their scorecards quickly and securely. The board has also streamlined the result-checking process, offering multiple platforms and alternative methods to ensure no student faces delays.

How to Check Maharashtra SSC Result 2025

To check their results, students should visit any of the official websites: mahresult.nic.in, sscresult.mkcl.org, or sscresult.mahahsscboard.in. On the homepage, click the link for “Maharashtra SSC Result 2025.” Enter your roll number and your mother’s first name as per your admit card, then submit the details. The result will be displayed on the screen, and students are advised to download and print their provisional marksheet for future reference. For those unable to access the websites due to heavy traffic, results can also be checked via SMS or DigiLocker.

What’s New and What to Expect in the Results

This year, the provisional online marksheet will include the student’s roll number, date of birth, subject-wise marks, and overall result status. The board will also announce division-wise and gender-wise performance statistics. Students must secure at least 35 percent marks in each subject and clear both internal and external assessments to pass the exam. Those who wish to apply for re-evaluation or verification of marks can do so within two weeks of the result declaration, and supplementary exams are scheduled for July 2025.

In 2024, the overall pass percentage was 95.81%, with girls outperforming boys by nearly 3 percent. The Konkan division topped with a pass percentage of 99.01%, while Nagpur had the lowest at 94.73%. These trends are expected to continue in 2025, reflecting the consistent academic performance across the state.

What to Do After Checking Your Result

After downloading the provisional marksheet, students should verify all details, including their name, roll number, and marks. The original marksheets will be distributed through respective schools in due course. Those who do not clear one or more subjects can appear for the supplementary exams in July. For any discrepancies or issues, students can contact the board through their school authorities.
