MCC NEET PG Counselling 2024: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has permitted applicants to resign from their seats assigned in the first round of National Eligibility Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling 2024. The deadline for resignation is December 3.
“MCC is in receipt of requests from PG candidates for resignation of Round-1 seats allotted to them through MCC since they have been allotted seats from Round-1 of state counselling also. Hence, the competent authority has allowed Resignation from Round-1 PG seats allotted through MCC so that such candidates can join their state counselling seats,” MCC said in an official notice.
Candidates must attend their designated college to quit their seats, and institutes have been urged to ensure that all resignations are entered into MCC's intramcc portal; otherwise, the resignation will be considered 'Null & Void'.
“Candidates who are claiming to be NRI as per the directions or orders of the Supreme Court of India, should send their relevant documents in support of their claim to change nationality from Indian to NRI through email nri.adgmemcc1@gmail.com from 10 am of November 29 till 10 am of December 1,” said MCC in another notice.
MCC has also permitted candidates to petition for the conversion of their nationality from Indian to Non-Residential Indian (NRI) for the second round of NEET PG 2024 counselling. Those who claim to be NRIs may petition for nationality conversion by December 1.
The following documents are necessary for nationality conversion:
* Documents claiming that the sponsor is an NRI (passport, visa of the sponsor).
* Relationship of NRI with the candidate as per the Supreme Court orders
* Affidavit from the sponsorer that he or she will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate duly notarized.
* Embassy certificate of the sponsor (certificate from the consulate).
* NEET scorecard of the candidate.
* Family tree notarized by Tehsildar.
