MHT CET PCM Answer Key 2025: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, is on the verge of releasing the MHT CET 2025 answer key for the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) group. Thousands of students who appeared for the entrance exam can soon check their official responses, calculate probable scores, and raise objections to any discrepancies. Here's a detailed breakdown of the expected answer key release, steps to download, how to challenge it, and how you can estimate your score.
When & Where to Access the MHT CET PCM Answer Key 2025
The official website cetcell.mahacet.org is your go-to portal for downloading the answer key. Although the precise release time has not been confirmed, the answer key could drop any moment now, based on live updates from the CET Cell.
Once available, the provisional answer key, individual response sheets, and question papers will be uploaded. Students will need to log in using their registered email ID and password to access the documents. This is particularly crucial for those who participated in the April 27 re-exam, as that session had 21 incorrect questions in the Mathematics section.
Steps to download:
Visit cetcell.mahacet.org
Click on “MHT CET PCM Answer Key 2025”
Enter your credentials
View and download your answer key and response sheet
Marking Scheme and Score Calculation: Estimate Before Results
Once you’ve downloaded your response sheet and answer key, you can estimate your MHT CET score by following this marking scheme:
Mathematics: +2 marks for each correct answer
Physics & Chemistry: +1 mark for each correct answer
No negative marking
How to calculate score:
Compare your recorded answers with the official key
Award marks based on the section
Sum your total score to get an estimate
For example, if you got 30 correct in Maths, 35 in Physics, and 40 in Chemistry, your estimated score will be:
Math: 30 × 2 = 60
Physics: 35 × 1 = 35
Chemistry: 40 × 1 = 40
Total = 135 marks
Raising Objections: Your Right to Challenge Errors
If you find an answer to be incorrect, don’t panic — you can raise an objection through the official portal. The objection window typically remains open for 2–3 days post-answer key release. A non-refundable fee of ₹1000 per question must be paid at the time of submission. If your challenge is accepted, your fee will be refunded and the answer key will be corrected for all candidates.
Steps To Raise objections:
Login at the objection portal using your roll number and date of birth
Select the Question ID you wish to challenge
Upload valid supporting documents (e.g., NCERT references or official textbooks; coaching material is not accepted)
Pay ₹1000 per objection
Submit the form online
The final answer key will reflect accepted challenges and form the basis for results.
What Happens After You Submit an Objection?
Once objections are submitted, a panel of subject experts reviews them thoroughly. If the objection is found valid, it results in an updated answer key. Importantly, no individual notifications will be sent regarding the outcome of your challenge, but the final answer key will clearly reflect any accepted changes.
Additionally, if multiple students raise the same valid objection, only one needs to be accepted for the change to apply across the board — ensuring fairness for all.
Once all objections are processed, the final answer key will be released, followed by MHT CET 2025 result declaration. Scores will be calculated solely based on this revised answer key.
