New Delhi | Jagran Education Desk: Months after conducting the exams, the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education or the MPBSE will declare the class 10th board examination result on Saturday (July 4). The result will be declared by the board Madhya Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Mandal at it official website -- mpbse.nic.in and mpresults.nic.in -- around 12 pm on Saturday.
The Madhya Pradesh Board class 10th examination were given by around 11.5 lakh students this year. The board, however, was not able to complete the exams after the Centre imposed a nationwide coronavirus-induced lockdown. It later announced that as directed by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the board will not fail any student this year.
Here’s how to check your MP Board class 10th results 2020:
Step 1: Log on to the official website of Madhya Pradesh Board at mpbse.nic.in or mpresults.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the“MP Board 10th Result 2020” link
Step 3: Enter your roll number and other details
Step 4: Your MP Board Class 10th Result 2020 will appear on the display of your screen
Step 5: Candidates are advised to download their results for future reference
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had ordered to cancel all the remaining exams, and directed the state government to promote all the students in wake of the coronavirus pandemic. “Students will get the remark ‘pass’ on their mark sheets for all cancelled exams,” Shivraj Singh Chouhan had said earlier, as reported by The Indian Express.
Last year, the MP class 10 and class 12 Board results were announced on May 15, 2019 at 11 am. A total of 61.32 per cent students cleared class 10 exams last year while the pass percentage of class 12 was recorded at 72.37 per cent in 2019. According to Madhya Pradesh Board, Gagan Dixit and Ayushman Tamrakar had topped the class 10th board exams. The two candidates had topped the exams by scoring 99.80 per cent marks each.
