MPESB Forest, Jail Department Application Deadline 2026: The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB), Bhopal, has extended the deadline to apply for the Forest Guard, Field Guard, Jail Prahari, and Assistant Jail Superintendent Recruitment Examination 2026. According to the official notification, candidates who have not yet submitted their application forms can now complete the registration process by April 30, 2026.

Eligible candidates can apply online through the official websites, esb.mp.gov.in and esb.mponline.gov.in. The objective of this recruitment drive is to fill 1,679 vacancies within the Forest Department and Jail Department of the Government of Madhya Pradesh.

MPESB Recruitment 2026: Eligibility & Registration Fee

Candidates applying for the posts of Forest Guard, Field Guard, and Jail Guard must have passed the 10th (Matriculation) Board Examination. For the post of Assistant Jail Superintendent, candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.

Age Limit:

For the posts of Forest Guard, Field Guard, and Jail Guard, candidates must be between 18 and 33 years of age. For the post of Assistant Jail Superintendent, the age limit is 21 to 33 years.

Note: The age of applicants will be calculated as of January 1, 2026. In accordance with government regulations, candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted relaxation in the upper age limit.

Registration Fee:

Candidates are required to pay the prescribed application fee while submitting the online form.

-Rs 500 for candidates belonging to the General, Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) categories.

-Rs 250 for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST).
