NBEMS Diploma Final Theory Exam 2023: The application process for the NBEMS diploma final theory exams has begun, according to the National Board of Examinations Medical Science (NBEMS). From 3 PM today, the registration link for the 2023 NBEMS diploma final exam will be up on the official website, natboard.edu.in.
The NBEMS Diploma Final is an exit exam that results in the award of the NBEMS Diploma in the relevant areas.
The tests will be administered on December 15, 16, and 17 at various testing locations across the nation, according to the schedule. October 25 is the deadline for diploma theoretical exam applications.
NBEMS Diploma Final Theory Exam 2023: Eligibility
The deadline for completing NBEMS Diploma Training to be eligible for the NBEMS Diploma Final Examination, which will be held in December 2023, is June 30, 2024.
- Candidates must be NBEMS Diploma trainees who have registered with the board.
- The National Medical Commission (NMC) should accept their MBBS degree.
- Candidates must present the Final program Completion Certificate (FTCC) if they have finished their NBEMS Diploma program and are attempting the NBEMS Diploma Final Examination.
- Candidates who have completed their diploma program must submit a Provisional program Completion Certificate (PTCC) in the format specified by the board.

Theory exam
Only those candidates who pass the theory test will be allowed to take the practical test. Candidates who don't pass the written exam will be allowed to retake the theory exams. They only have three chances to pass the practical exam, though.
- The theory test consists of three papers with a combined maximum score of 300.
- Each paper contains 10 brief notes worth 10 points each.
In various disciplines, the quantity of brief notes and their associated marks may differ.
- Candidates must receive a minimum of 150 overall points across all three papers to pass the theory exam.
- The board said that it would only award grace marks of up to 2% of the total possible points, or 6/300, to applicants who scored between 144 and 149 on a scale of 300.
Practical exam
- The practical exam for the NBE Diploma also carries 300 points. It consists of a Viva and an OSCE or Clinical Examination.
- Unlike a theory paper, the practical examination does not provide for grace marks.
NBEMS Diploma Final Theory Exam 2023: Important Dates
Candidates who wish to participate in both the theory and practical portions of the exam must pay a fee of Rs 6,000. Exams will last for three hours, from 2 to 5 p.m. This is the exam schedule for the diploma in theory.
