NCERT CEE 2026 Registration: The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has officially announced the commencement of the admission process for the Regional Institutes of Education (RIEs) for the academic session 2026-27. This highly anticipated national-level Common Entrance Examination (CEE) 2026 is the gateway for students aspiring to pursue professional teacher education programs. These include the four-year Integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. and B.A. B.Ed. courses, as well as the specialized two-year B.Ed. and M.Ed. programs.

The RIEs located in Ajmer, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Mysuru, and Shillong are renowned for their excellence in pedagogy and remain the top choice for future educators across India.

As per the latest notification issued by the nodal body, RIE Bhubaneswar, the online application window will remain open for a brief period, making it crucial for candidates to stay updated. This year, the focus remains on selecting candidates who demonstrate a strong aptitude for teaching and academic excellence. With the teaching profession gaining renewed prestige under the latest educational reforms, the competition for the limited seats at these premier institutes is expected to be exceptionally high.

How To Apply For The NCERT RIE Admissions 2026?

Candidates can complete their registration through a streamlined online process. Follow these steps to ensure a successful application:

Step 1: Visit cee.ncert.gov.in and click on the registration link to create a new account using a valid email ID and mobile number.

Step 2:  Log in with your new credentials and enter your personal details, academic history, and contact information.

Step 3: Upload a scanned copy of your recent passport-size photograph and signature in the specific format required by the portal.

Step 4:  Choose your preferred Regional Institute (RIE) and select three convenient test centers from the available national list.

Step 5:  Pay the application fee through the integrated online payment gateway and submit the form. Ensure you download and print the confirmation page for future reference.

Eligibility and Important Academic Deadlines

Aspiring teachers must meet specific criteria to be eligible for the CEE 2026. Generally, candidates need a minimum of 50 per cent marks in their previous qualifying examination (10+2 for integrated courses and Graduation for B.Ed). Aside from the registration dates, candidates must also adhere to the "Marks Upload" schedule.

For Level 1 (Integrated courses), marks must be uploaded by June 20, while for Level 2 (B.Ed) and Level 3 (M.Ed), the deadline is June 30. If qualifying marks are not uploaded on time, the candidate will be excluded from final merit consideration, regardless of their entrance exam performance.
